Here is a time laps gif of how I painted the Bel mural. I posed the 3d models and rendered them down flat. I used this as my base to paint everything up including the normal maps.

Smite - Roman Arena

This map was a big task for me, I did the initial block out of the map and laying out how I wanted it to end up. It was the first map I was charged with from such an early point in its development.
I built the majority of the order side of the base, the stands and the surrounding mountains. Made sure to establish key shots for when you leave the spawn base trying to tell the visual story of Bellona's assault on the Hera temple.
I was moved to another project towards the end of the map but was excited when I came back to it later that Mick Jundt had maintained my vision for it!

When I came back to the map I got to do some cooler point of intrest parts of the map such as the lion statues and the Bellona side stone relief.

All the maps on for Smite are a group effort and we all work together on the same map. I had the pleasure of working on the maps with some very talented artists.
